The Possibilities are Endless.

Therapy designed to change your life, not talk about changing your life.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was greater than the risk to blossom" -Anaïs Nin

Hello and welcome to my practice. You’ve made it here, which means you’ve already taken action for change. Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered on your path to well being.

Until now, you may have unsuccessfully tried many approaches to your problem. You might have tried to solve the problem on your own, by talking to friends and family, or by keeping it all bottled up inside. Whatever brought you to this point, the approaches you have taken are no longer enough to manifest the change you know is possible. It's not a weakness to ask for help, but the greatest sign of courage. You do not need to be on this journey alone.

As a therapist, my goal is to understand your goals as deeply as possible.

This will mean changing the way you think, feel, and act on a daily basis. Over time you'll develop useful strategies to modify your thoughts and behaviors. We will know our work is done when you are thriving in the life that you envision. You will take our work with you after we end and reap the benefits throughout your life.

The most important thing I want you to know is that I truly love the therapeutic relationship and genuinely care about the people with whom I work. My style is warm and open, and my focus is on creating safety, awareness, and growth in the therapeutic environment. That said, I know a good laugh can do wonders during difficult times. I look forward to speaking with you about where you are now and where you want to be.

Couples Therapy/EFT

I love working with couples because I enjoy seeing the pair go from despair to delight in each other.  Couples therapy is for those seeking clear understandings and a solid foundation for their relationship at the outset. It is for couples who are in distress, and it is for those in relationships wondering whether to stay together or go separate ways.  We see couples trying to improve their communication, wanting to discuss difficult issues without animosity, and those working to improve their sexual and emotional intimacy. If you are wondering where your love and tenderness went and want to rebuild what originally brought you together with your partner, there is hope. If you are still in a loving and healthy relationships but want to do everything you can to secure that it remains so for years to come, then you are in the right place. We work with the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) model because it is evidence based, meaning it works!

As the mom of a young girl, working with families and children holds special meaning for me. I know firsthand the challenges of adjusting to new family roles when a baby arrives, a couple decides to take the exciting step of getting married, or the inevitable happens and there is loss in the family. There are many times when a family needs help from the outside to see the patterns and roles that they have fallen into that are no longer serving them or their loved ones. It is my job to create a safe environment where all members of the family are heard, creating the space to recast family dynamics and relationships so that healing can begin.
